Swapping in the 100-01666 is a like-for-like move: a 1G BiDi SFP running 10km over a single strand of single-mode fiber, dropped in wherever the Calix original sat before. As the BX-U (upstream) half of the pair, it terminates one end of the BiDi link through a simplex LC face, so the far end pairs with its downstream counterpart across the same strand. The 10km SMF budget and 1G rate mirror the part it replaces, which keeps the existing fiber plan and cage assignments untouched.
