Reaching 80km over single-mode fiber, the 100-01970 is a 10G ZR SFP+ built for the long metro and inter-office spans where a standard LR optic runs out of budget. It seats in a duplex-LC SFP+ port on Calix equipment and comes up coded to the host, so the link negotiates without an operator touching the interface. Real-time optical diagnostics are exposed over DDM for ongoing power and temperature monitoring.
