AE382A HP Compatible 1G SFP 100m Copper Transceiver

The AE382A is a 1G SFP that runs 1000BASE-T over RJ45 copper to 100m, dropping into a standard SFP cage on HP equipment. It leads with copper because that is the point of the part: gigabit Ethernet over the structured Category cabling already pulled to the edge, no fiber patch needed for the last 100m. The module is coded to the HP host so the switch identifies it as a matching part and forwards traffic without any setup step, and it surfaces live diagnostics over DDM. That 100m copper reach spans a horizontal run from a closet switch to an access device.
