The AT-QSFP28-LR4 is a QSFP28 module that carries 100G across single-mode fiber to 10km using the LR4 grade, terminated on a duplex LC pair. Coded to appear as a native part on Allied Telesis switching, it is hot-swappable and needs no host configuration to bring the port up. At a 10km reach on single-mode plant it fits data-center interconnect and building-to-building 100G aggregation, and it reports live optical diagnostics over DDM once the link is established.
