FEC — read before installing: RS-FEC runs inside this module. Leave host FEC off or on auto — do not force RS-FEC on the switch port; enabling host FEC will bring the link down. The far end of the link must also be a single-lambda optic of the same type with onboard FEC.

Compatibility: Compatible with Ciena platforms — accepted in 100G QSFP28 ports on the 5170 Service Aggregation Platform, 5171 Service Aggregation Platform, 8180 Coherent Networking Platform, Waveserver Interconnect System, and 5164 Router.
