It is a 10G SFP+ for single-mode DWDM, seated in a standard SFP cage and terminated on a duplex LC pair. Coded to the Juniper host, it comes up as a recognized module with no configuration step and streams real-time optical diagnostics over DDM. Carrying 10G on SMF, it drops into an existing Juniper DWDM deployment as a fixed-channel member without disturbing the rest of the plan.
