Decoded, the DWDM-SFP10G-39.77 is a 10G DWDM SFP+ pinned to one wavelength on a dense-grid plan over single-mode fiber — the Cisco-coded version of exactly that. Because it sits on a single assigned DWDM channel, it adds capacity to an existing mux as one more member without touching the wavelengths already running alongside it. A duplex LC pair carries the traffic, and DDM diagnostics stream back to the host for real-time optical monitoring.
