The DZS-1G-CWDM1490 is a 1G CWDM SFP fixed at 1490nm on the CWDM grid, running single-mode fiber out of a duplex LC as a compatible match for the DZS/Zhone part of the same code. It occupies the 1490nm slot in a CWDM plan without disturbing neighboring wavelengths, which is what lets several gigabit services share one fiber pair on the coarse grid. Seating in DZS/Zhone hardware that expects this module, it links up with no configuration step and reports diagnostics over DDM, so the 1490nm channel stays visible to the same monitoring after the swap.
