SX over multimode to 550m is the spec that defines this optic, and the E1MG-SX-OM-T is built around it: a 1G SX SFP running gigabit Ethernet across MMF on a duplex LC pair, seated in a standard SFP cage. Coded for Brocade/Ruckus hosts, it enumerates as a native module with no configuration required and reports live optical diagnostics over DDM once the link is up. The 550m multimode reach and SX designation make it the fit for in-building aggregation and short inter-rack fiber, where a full single-mode optic would be overkill for the distance.
