On Fortinet firewalls and switches, the FG-TRAN-LX fills the fiber uplink slot as a compatible 1G LX SFP. It carries a gigabit link up to 10km over single-mode fiber, the standard long-reach access distance, and is coded for Fortinet hosts. It is hot-swappable and carries a 10km single-mode span.
