This is a long-haul single-mode optic for inter-site and metro-area spans, reaching distances at the edge of what a client-side module can drive on its own. It is typically deployed point-to-point between facilities where dark fiber is available and the optical path can be engineered. It operates 80km.

Host-programmed and qualified against Juniper platforms, it slots in beside existing OEM and third-party optics, reports clean DDM telemetry, and needs no special configuration to bring the link up.
