As a parallel, multi-lane optic, this module anchors high-density spine-leaf fabrics and breakout topologies, aggregating several lanes into a single high-speed port. It is a backbone component of modern data-center and AI-cluster builds, where port density and bandwidth per rack-unit are the limiting factors. It operates 10km.

It is programmed to present native host values, so it interoperates link-to-link with OEM modules on the far end and coexists with installed optics in the same line card without compatibility flags.
