A medium-reach single-mode module tuned for the modern data center — short interconnect hops between halls and rows in high-density spine-leaf fabrics. It pairs single-mode reach with low latency and modest power for 100G-and-up east-west traffic that has outgrown multimode. It operates 2km.

It is programmed to present native host values, so it interoperates link-to-link with OEM modules on the far end and coexists with installed optics in the same line card without compatibility flags.
