Ten kilometers over single-mode fiber is the working spec of the MRV-SFP-10GD-LR, the LR-grade SFP coded for MRV platforms. It terminates in a duplex LC, negotiates with the host as the MRV part it replaces, and streams DDM/DOM telemetry so the far end of a long span never goes dark unnoticed.
