NG-10G-SR Netgear Compatible 10G SFP SR 300m MMF Transceiver

Rated for 300m over multimode fiber, the NG-10G-SR is a 10G SR SFP built for the short-reach optical hops inside a building or data hall. SR signalling over MMF is the standard fit for those sub-kilometer runs, and the module drops into a standard SFP cage to light 10 Gigabit Ethernet across them without disturbing the surrounding cabling. That 300m ceiling is what places it: past copper's limit, short of anything that needs single-mode fiber, exactly the band multimode SR was defined to serve.
