NTTP59BD Ciena Compatible 1G SFP BiDi 10km SMF Transceiver

Where a second strand cannot be pulled — access spans and subscriber drops on a single fiber — a BiDi optic carries both directions on one strand, and the NTTP59BD is built for exactly that. It is a 1G BiDi SFP reaching 10km over single-mode fiber as the BX-U upstream end of a BiDi pair, mating through a simplex LC. That single-fiber design is what puts it on last-mile and distribution links where fiber count is tight, and the 10km reach covers the distances those runs usually span. It drops into Ciena platforms with no setup and carries the full 1G payload the moment it seats.
