Cisco ONS-SE-155-1590 Compatible OC-3 SFP CWDM 1590nm 60km/100km Transceiver Module

Cisco ONS platforms treat the ONS-SE-155-1590 as the OC-3 CWDM optic they were coded to expect: it seats in a standard SFP cage, identifies itself to the host, and needs nothing configured. On the line side it transmits at 1590nm over single-mode fiber (SMF) through an LC/UPC connector, with a 60km/100km reach rating and an operating window of 0 to 85°C (32 to 185°F). Within a CWDM plan it takes the 1590nm slot, so surrounding channel assignments are unaffected. On the equipment side nothing changes either — the same cage and the same LC/UPC patching serve it.
