Juniper QFX systems are the intended hosts for the QFX-QSFP-40G-ESR4, and each unit is programmed against Juniper platform data before it leaves TenFourOptics. Seated in a QSFP port, it reports the identity the operating system checks, comes up as a 40G ESR4 module, and passes DDM/DOM diagnostics to the host. It runs alongside whatever optics already populate the chassis, with no extra steps required at the console. Identification and diagnostic behavior are confirmed per serial as part of outgoing checks.
