The QSFP-100G-PSM4-T2 is a 100G QSFP28 module rated for 500m over single-mode fiber, supplied as a compatible stand-in for the Juniper part carrying the same number. It terminates in duplex LC, loads Juniper host coding at the factory, and is accepted by the chassis as a known module — seat it and the port negotiates to 100G without further work. Telemetry from the optic remains available to the operating system through DDM/DOM for routine monitoring. Each serial goes through bench verification of coding and diagnostics before it is packed.
