When a 10G link has to leave the rack but stay inside metro distance, the LR-class SFP+ is the standard fit — and the SFP-10GD-LX covers it, reaching 10km over single-mode fiber on a duplex LC pair. It comes coded to bring up on MRV platforms as a recognized optic and drops in hot with no configuration required. DDM is on board for live monitoring of the 10km single-mode span.
