As the BX-U upstream end of a single-fiber pair, the SFP-25G-ERBD-U-I runs 25G BiDi over one strand of single-mode fiber out to a 40km reach. That single-fiber BiDi design carries a full 25G channel on a lone strand, terminating through a simplex LC connector in the SFP28 form factor. It seats in Arista hardware coded as the native part, links without configuration, and reports live operating data over DDM.
