SFPP-10GE-DW28-80KM Juniper Compatible 10G SFP+ Transceiver

The SFPP-10GE-DW28-80KM is a 10G SFP+ optical transceiver engineered as a drop-in equivalent for Juniper platforms and is hot-swappable.

• Form Factor: SFP+
• Data Rate: 10G
• Technology: DWDM
• ITU Channel: DW28 (C-band, 100 GHz grid)
• Fiber Type: SMF
• Reach: up to 80 km
• OEM Equivalent: SFPP-10GE-DW28-80KM

Compatibility: The SFPP-10GE-DW28-80KM-TFO is TenFour Optics' compatible equivalent of the Juniper SFPP-10GE-DW28-80KM, coded per order for Juniper platforms. Juniper lists the SFPP-10GE-DW28-80KM for use in 10G SFP+ ports on: ACX Series, EX3400 Series, EX4300 Series, EX4600 Series, MX204/MX Series, QFX5100 Series, QFX5120 Series, and SRX Series. Tested & Proven: Every TenFour Optics part is coded, tested, and verified before shipment — see Tested & Proven.

As a fixed-channel DWDM optic, this module transmits on a single ITU-grid wavelength so dozens of independent channels can share one fiber pair through a multiplexer. That makes it a building block of metro and data-center-interconnect backbones, where lighting more fiber is impractical and every wavelength of capacity counts. It drops into mux/demux and OADM designs cleanly, coexisting with the other channels on the grid without interference. It operates reaching 80 km on fixed ITU channel DW28.

Because it is coded to the Juniper host platform, the switch or router reads it as a factory module — clean in diagnostics, free to mix with OEM and other compatible optics in the same chassis, and needing no firmware exceptions.

Before shipment every module is coded to the host platform, then verified for protocol conformity, diagnostic accuracy, and end-face cleanliness. Compliance documentation (RoHS declaration, IEC 60825-1 laser classification) is available on request for project quotes.
