That 300m multimode envelope is the sweet spot for aggregation hops that never leave the facility, and this module is coded to fill it as a straight swap. It drops into Juniper switching that expects this OEM part, coming up recognized with no configuration to enter, and reports live status over DDM so the port stays visible to the monitoring already watching it.
