For single-fiber 10G runs where a second strand isn't available — metro access, subscriber drops, constrained duct — the SFPP-BD32-20KM-LC-WS is a 10G BiDi SFP+ reaching 20km over one strand of single-mode fiber. As the BX-D (downstream) unit, it terminates one end of a BiDi pair through a simplex LC connector and seats in a standard SFP+ cage on TenFourOptics platforms with no configuration required. It comes up coded as a native module and reports live optical diagnostics over DDM. Sharing both directions on a single strand is what lets the 20km span run without pulling a second fiber.
