The UF-SM-10G is a 10G SFP+ LR module reaching 10km over single-mode fiber, programmed for Ubiquiti hosts as a compatible equivalent of the Ubiquiti part of the same name. That reach handles building-to-building and campus links from a standard SFP+ cage, and because the coding is loaded before the unit arrives, the host recognizes the module at insertion and the port comes up with no console work on your side.
