Where one pair of single-mode strands has to carry several services at once, DWDM gives each service its own wavelength — and the UTS-1G-DWDMCh52 supplies the Ch52 member of that plan, carrying 1G at 1508.77nm through a duplex LC interface. On UTStarcom platforms it identifies as a native SFP and brings the link up without host-side changes. UTStarcom management tools poll it just as they would the OEM-coded original.
