XCVR-A40U49 Ciena Compatible 1G SFP BiDi 40km SMF Transceiver

Dropping the XCVR-A40U49 in as a like-for-like swap keeps a 40km single-fiber BiDi link intact while retiring the original Ciena optic. It is a 1G BiDi SFP reaching 40km over one strand of single-mode fiber as the BX-D (downstream) end, terminating through a simplex LC connector and coming up coded to the host with no configuration step. Because the single-fiber design and 40km reach match the part it replaces, the downstream side of the BiDi pair carries on unchanged and diagnostics stay available over DDM.
